What is a website health check?
A plain-English review of your website that finds broken links and pages, slow pages and places where your pages contradict each other. The Full check also covers search engine optimisation (SEO), local search and how ready your website is for artificial intelligence (AI) tools. You get a prioritised list of fixes.
How much does a website health check cost?
The Quick check is £149 + VAT and the Full check with SEO is £349 + VAT.
How long does it take?
You get your Quick check report within 2 working days and your Full check report within 5 working days.
Do you need my password?
No. For the health check we only look at the public website, as your customers and Google see it. If you ask us to fix things, you add Appright as a separate named user, which you can remove at any time. We never ask for your own password.
Will you change anything on my website?
Not during the health check. We only change things if you ask us to fix them, after you have approved the fix list in writing and we have made a full backup.
Can you fix the problems you find?
Yes. Fixes start from £295 + VAT, depending on the size of your fix list, and we agree the price in writing before we start. We back up your website first, record every change and check the site again afterwards.
Is the health check fee credited if I go ahead with a build?
Yes. If you go ahead with a build with us within 60 days of receiving your report, such as a new website or a bespoke app, we credit the health check fee against it.
Can you look after my website afterwards?
Yes. We also offer website care plans. Email hello@appright.co.uk and we will talk you through them.
Can you guarantee better Google rankings?
No. Nobody can honestly promise a ranking. We show you what is holding your website back and what to fix first.
Do you check how AI tools see my business?
Yes, in the Full check. We review how ready your website is for AI tools and ask some real customer questions in AI tools, such as ChatGPT, recording whether your business was named.
Which websites can you check?
Any public website. Very large websites and online shops with big product catalogues are quoted separately.
